Dear Parent or Guardian,

INTRODUCING ALEXANDRA ADVENTURERS!

We are excited to announce that Alexandra Adventurers, our new After School Care Provision will be opening on the 2nd June 2025. We will only be opening places to children who were registered with MyTime for the remainder of the Summer Term. Our aim is to provide high quality after school care for children attending Alexandra Junior School.

Alexandra Adventurers will operate in The Lodge, school hall and the school playground, weather permitting. Children will have the chance to interact with peers from different classes, enjoy a variety of games, participate in physical activities, and access a range of toys and games, including board games, role play, arts and crafts, and construction activities.

We want to ensure that children have fun in a safe and nurturing environment where they can socialise with their peers and take part in activities that interest them.

A light snack will be provided to the children around 3.45pm by the school’s caterer, Harrison. The term's menu will be available on our club webpage. Please make sure to list any allergies on the registration form.

The hours of operation and pricing for Alexandra Adventurers are as follows:

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

To request a space for your child(ren), please complete the electronic registration and booking forms using the link below. You must complete one form per child. Both forms must be completed to secure a place at the club.

Club placements are only available to children that were registered with MyTime for the remainder of the summer term. Further communication will be provided to the wider school community regarding places at the Club from September 25 shortly.

PAYMENTS

Invoices will be issued and must be paid in full by the end of the Summer term. To ensure your child's space within the club, payment must be received by the due date.

If you are unable to make the full payment in advance, please contact the club administrator to discuss your situation.

We are registered with the HMRC tax-free childcare scheme and accept Childcare vouchers from the following providers:

Payments can be made by bank transfer or childcare voucher. Please note that we are unable to accept cheques or cash for Alexandra Adventurers.

CLUB STAFF AND CONTACT DETAILS

The Alexandra Adventurers club is overseen by trained staff, each of whom will have an enhanced DBS check and a paediatric first aid qualification. Although the club is included under the school’s Ofsted registration, it has distinct contact details and its own management structure. Additionally, the club follows its own registration procedures and maintains separate documentation.
